Main goal of the the next generation weather station is not solar/battery power. I can accept that it needs mains power. Probably with a standard USB power supply and a microUSB plug.
However, I’ve been thinking about making an alternative low power weather station with e-ink/e-paper display (i.e. from seeedstudio).
What about inductive charging ?
